Tony Dungy: Manning will retire if he’s not with the Colts

Peter King of SI.com
recently had a conversation with former Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy about Peyton Manning’s future.

Dungy indicated to King that he believes Manning will either play for the Colts next season or he won’t play at all.  He explained to King that Manning is a creature of habit and he wouldn’t want to go play for another team and be forced to learn how to play with a whole new bunch of guys on offense.  He’d also likely have to learn a whole new offensive system.

This is definitely interesting insight from Dungy,  who of course coached Manning for most of his career and may know him as well as anyone.

All we can do right now,  is wait and see what the Colts and Manning decide to do about his future in the city of Indianapolis.
